i ended up asking her, "did the Lord really get you a good deal at macy's" or were you just there during a good sale?"

he awnser suprised me, she said "every good gift is from the Lord" "so i try to Give him credit for all the good things that happen to me"

then i understood why she was alwys saying that kind of thing. it still to this day can drive me nuts BUT it did give me a perspective that i didnt have before- so while i may not say "the Lord gave me a good parking space at penny's" i will silently thank Him for the "gift". KWIM?
