We thankfully do NOT have to show anyone anything that proves we followed the hours guideline.

Our state says 4 hours a day of schooling. Like your state that's for any and all grades! Crazy!

This is only a problem in TN for NEW homeschoolers who have younger dc. They want to follow all guidelines to a T to the detriment of their poor wee-ones! Thankfully, some experienced TN homeschooler usually explains to them that this is a *guideline* not a law. Also, many of those poor souls are thinking that it means 4 hours of *seatwork*.

Anyway, I'll be thinking about this. Looking at anything that might be a motivator!
