We keep track of hours and keep a portfolio "just in case." Part of me would prefer to check in with someone, and the other part of me wishes there were no laws, so I guess I'll be content with the way it is. I sometimes feel tied down by the law, because you are supposed to have roughly equal hours in the 5 core subjects, and some years I'd just rather skip a topic.

It's good that some of the seasoned moms help the new ones. that's how it works here, too. :-)
