I had *just* finished reading the last chapter when I got a call from my bil saying my mil had just had a stroke.

I was already struggling with what I now know is fibromyalgia, but didn't know at the time.

That was a LONG few months with my mil and my own physical pain (and mental at times). Then my fil took a turn for the worse and spent a few stays at the hospital during the next year. At the end of that year, my dh and I had some MAJOR marital issues.

I honestly cannot tell you how many times I thought of that book and Corrie's words during that year. It was certainly God's Perfect Timing that I finished that book just minutes before an extremely trying year began for me.
