This little girl may well be dyslexic-- but the school is unlikely even to suggest that unless they've already tried intervention (like tutoring) and it's failed. That's part of the process. It could be that she doesn't respond to the program the school is using or just needs a bit extra help. They should do these things first and for all children who are taking a bit longer to learn to read at that age, whether or not they are classified.
