Chicken and Rice
8 chicken breasts (halves) or 24-32 chicken strips
2 cups uncooked rice (mom prefers Uncle Ben's)
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can filled with water
Spray crockpot with Pam.
Mix together soups, melted butter, and water.
Stir in rice. Pour into crockpot.
Add thawed chicken. Make sure some soup covers chicken completely
Cook 3-5 hours on high. Check chicken after 3 hours.
Note: this is modified from the original recipe, because we like more rice. You can also back it in the oven, but I do it mostly in the crockpot.
